THE Lymm Adivas Morris Dance troupe picked up a hatful of awards when they competed in the Elite Morris Dancing Championships at Prestatyn.
Throughout the weekend competition, they collected numerous awards at a much higher level than expected, including:
Dinkies: 1st Place, Troupe of the year and the Liz Jarvis Sparkle award.
Tinies: 1st Place with Best leader and leader of the year
Juniors: 1st place
Seniors: 3rd place with Mascot of the year.
Kate Pritchard, who runs the troupe said: “We were all incredibly pleased with each and every dancer. They all worked so hard throughout the year and in preparation for the championships.
“We have now started new lines for the 2019 season and would love to welcome new dancers.”
The troupe caters for all ages – 2-plus to 40-plus and meet at Lymm Methodist Church Hall on Wednesday evenings.
