A SPECIAL tree has been planted at the Lumb Brook Millennium Green, Appleton to mark the centenary of the Cheshire Federation of Women’s Institutes in 2020.
Committee members from Grappenhall WI and friends gathered to plant the tree – a three year old sweet horse chestnut grown from seed by committee member Yvonne Powell.
