Nurseries and Schools wanted to raise money for ‘BBC Children in Need’

WARRINGTON Borough Council is asking Nurseries, Schools and Colleges across the borough to take a free stall in their first ever “Big Bring & Buy Market”

This is an opportunity for schools/organisations to work together on November 10 to raise money collectively for the annual BBC Children in Need appeal, whilst hopefully providing a whole host of bargains for families in Warrington.

Interest has already been received from the BBC and the local media and the council are optimistic that they will receive good exposure of the event.

Every participant will be provided with a free industry standard gazebo and a table.

They can rope in parents, friends, colleagues, neighbours and family members to donate good quality items to nurseries or schoosl for you to sell on your stall at the event.

Children may also sell items they have made in school.

Just like in the TV show the “Young Apprentice”, this is a great opportunity for children to develop their entrepreneurial skills in a real life setting, whilst having fun and raising money for a great cause.

All money raised will be collected by the council and donated to the Children in Need appeal. We will arrange for a big presentation party at a later date.

To register for a pitch,  email the name of your organisation/school, contact name and telephone number to: [email protected]

Closing date for registration is Friday November 2.
