Two arrested following disturbance at McDonald’s Birchwood

A man and woman have been arrested following a disturbance at a McDonald’s restaurant at Birchwood, Warrington.

Officers attended at the premises following reports of a disturbance and arrested a male and female for a variety of offences including allegations of assault on staff, threatening behaviour and assaulting a police officer.

In another incident earlier today a man was arrested for an alleged domestic assault on his ex-partner at a pub in the Great Sankey area.

A male was also arrested at Bridge Foot earlier today after reports of a man running in and out of traffic. It is alleged the man pushed a police officer.

He was arrested for a breach of the peace and assault on police.
