Plastic ablaze in farm fire

TWO fire engines were called to the scene when a large fire broke out at a farm at Grappenhall, Warrington.
The blaze was at a farm in Cartridge Lane and involved a quantity of plastics, measuring about 10 metres by 10 metres.
Originally, fire engines from Lymm went to the scene but more crews from Stockton Heath were called to assist.
Two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire and firefighters were at the scene for about 90 minutes last night.
