Warrington basks in Indian summer

0

WARRINGTON basked in an “Indian Summer” today with glorious blue skies and sunshine taking temperatures up to an unseasonable 22 °C – but enjoy it while it lasts with wet and windy weather forecast for the weekend!

With the temperature matching holiday destinations like the Canaries, the forecast for tomorrow, Thursday, is a mixture of cloud and sunny spells for much of the day, but a spell of blustery heavy rain is expected late in the afternoon with a risk of thunder. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

The outlook for Friday to Sunday is strong winds and heavy, persistent rain on Friday and Saturday, with gales in exposed areas. On Sunday the wet and windy weather will clear, with sunny spells after.
