A HUSBAND and wife from Warrington put on a charity event – and added to the fun by both having their heads shaved.
The event at the Poacher pub at Birchwood raised more than £384 – and money is still coming in.
The event was to raise funds for CANsupport, which is part of the CANtreat cancer treatment centre at Halton Hospital.
CANsupport is run by volunteers and provides equipment and support for cancer patients.
There were stalls, tombola, a raffle, cakes, etc and lots of personal donations.
Nikki, from Bugs Biz came along with an assortmet of exotic animals.
Steven Bishop, 59 and his wife, Kerry, 41, both had their heads shaved.
Afterwards, Kerry said: “We would like to thank everyone who came along and helped. We would not have been able to achieve this without their help.”
Anyone who would like to donate to the appeal can contact Kerry by email at [email protected]
