Police seek woman four months after fraud offence

DETECTIVES at Warrington have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to about an incident of fraud back in May in Warrington.
At approximately 2:30pm on Tuesday May 22 false identification was used to purchase a laptop from Curry’s PC World in Warrington.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers believe that the woman in the CCTV image may be able to help with their investigation.
She is described as a black woman of average build with lengthy black hair. She was wearing burgundy skinny fit trousers, a blue top with a denim jacket, sandals and carrying a handbag.
Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman or thinks they may know who she is to get in touch.
PC Katie Rogers said: “We believe the woman in the CCTV images may have vital information to help with our ongoing investigation and we are keen to speak to her.
“If you think you recognise her, or if you know who she is, please call us on 101, quoting IML 73223, give us the details via
https://cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the woman and ask her to get in touch.”
