VIDEO: A new charity has been set up working tirelessly to improve the mental fitness of people in Warrington.
Founded by Mark Moran, who has suffered with mental health issues for more than 20 years, Myndful provide peer support and mindfulness outreach to people free of charge.
He took to the airwaves with Matthew Moorcroft on Radio Warrington and was also broadcast live on warrington-worldwide’s facebook page to help raise mental health issues.
Mark was inspired to set up the charity after working with “Offload” at the Wolves Foundation.
Meanwhile on World Mental Health Day on October 10, from 11am – 4pm Myndful are holding mental fitness festival at the Gateway in Warrington. It will provide a marketplace for all mental health charities
with the main event being at 1pm.
Mark said :”It will provide opportunity for all Warrington health and business leaders to come along and find out about the charity, what we they have done, what we are doing and what are we going to do.
“Visitors will be able to hear first hand from our clients who have used our offering during trials.
“We will share our up and coming projects with people so they have a chance to get involved.”
Before then the charity is holding a Live Music Celebration on October 5 from 7.30pm at Warrington Irish Club. Mark, Mike, Moggy & Murph are the acts for myndful music !
