Bungalow in-the-garden plan approved

PLANS for a new dormer bungalow in the grounds of an adjoining property have been given the go-ahead by Warrington’s development management committee, despite opposition from neighbours.
The proposed development is at Enfield Cottage, St Andrews Close, Poulton-with-Fearnhead.
Objections, comments and expressions of concern were received from seven neighbours.
These included the likely impact of the property on adjoining buildings – three of which are locally listed – loss of light, privacy and overshadowing.
But one resident wrote a letter supporting the application and said the bungalow would be a welcome addition to the area.
Planning officers said the proposed property was in a sustainable location and recommended the scheme be approved.
