Home draw for Yellows if they get through in FA Cup replay

WARRINGTON Town will host AFC Telford United in the FA Cup third qualifying round, if they can despatch of Consett in tomorrow night’s replay.

The Yellows ensured they were in the hat for this afternoon’s draw after coming from behind to draw 3-3 in the north on Saturday.

Telford, a phoenix club formed from the ashes of the former Telford United in 2004, have a proud FA Cup history and have played in the National League as recently as 2014.

The game will be played on Saturday October 6 at Cantilever Park, should Warrington Town make it through.

There are four qualifying rounds in total before the FA Cup first round proper.

Meanwhile, Warrington’s league trip to Nantwich Town which was postponed due to the cup replay will now be played on Tuesday October 30 (7.45pm kick-off).
