Violent teenager arrested after threatening people with knife

A violent teenager was arrested during the early hours of today by Warrington police after threatening people in the street with a knife.

The 18-year-old male was taken into custody following the incident just after midnight in the Poulton, Fearnhead area following an alleged Domestic Assault – he was also alleged to have been threatening people in the street with a knife.

Meanwhile 0055 hours a male was arrested in the street in the Poplars & Hulme area for an allegation of Drunk & Disorderly – he is alleged to have been shouting and swearing in the street.

Then at 0400 hours a male was arrested in the Birchwood area for allegations of Possession of a baseball bat as an offensive weapon and criminal damage to windows of a property in the Winwick Road area earlier in the evening.
