Club offers all-year tennis following £15,000 upgrade


CULCHETH Tennis Club is on the look out for new players following a £15,000 overhaul of its facilities.
The all-weather artificial grass courts have been rejuvenated and floodlit and will now be available throughout the year.
The club plays in the Warrington District League and has four men’s teams – the 1st team playing in division one – two women’s teams and two mixed teams.
Over the years, the club has acquired a fantastic reputation for success on court and is led by club coach Gary Brookes, a fully qualified LTA coach with 20 years’ experience.
The club is looking for new members of any experience level, including novices.
A club spokesman said: “There is an excellent set up for juniors with regular group or individual lessons and numerous social tennis sessions for all levels of ability – meaning anyone get involved! Adult membership available for £125/year, retired £65, under 18’s £40, under 15’s free”
