FIRE broke out at a Warrington pub around mid-day today.
The blaze was on the first floor at the Stonemill pub, in Sandy Lane West, Orford.
Three fire engines from Birchwood and Penketh were sent to the scene and crews used two hose reel jets and a covering jet to tackle the outbreak.
Four firefighters wore breathing apparatus to combat dense smoke and a ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.
Crews were still present at the scene at 2.30pm checking the loft area of the building to ensure the fire had not spread.
