WARRINGTON Town goalkeeper Tony McMillan celebrated winning the Player of the Month award with a fifth consecutive clean sheet at the weekend.
The veteran shot-stopper, 36, had little to do as the Yellows brushed past Burscough 4-0 in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
That followed the impressive 5-0 win at North Ferriby the previous weekend, with the 2-0 win at home to Workington sandwiched in between.
McMillan, who counts Southport, Stalybridge and Runcorn amongst his former clubs, also kept clean sheets in the goalless draws against Stalybridge and Bamber Bridge over the Bank Holiday weekend.
All clubs in the Evo-Stik League will be awarding a Player of the Month throughout the season as part of a deal with Bowland Brewery, based in Clitheroe.
