FORMER Priestley College student Georgina Atkinson has partnered with companies across the North West to improve their brands by offering marketing videos, professional photoshoots and brand design.

A passion for creativity and collaboration drives 23-year-old Georgina, who has experience working for The Sunday Times, White Stuff, River Island and a Lymm based design agency.

Since deciding to quit her job and work freelance in March 2018, she’s partnered with Warrington businesses including: Corks Out, The Little Manor, and The Beauty Spa in Stockton Heath.

Georgina’s journey started at Priestley College, Warrington, where she discovered her passion for photography and creating videos.

Following Priestley College, she spent 4 years studying at UCLAN University in Preston, where she was awarded the Fashion Award at Lancashire Arts Festival for designing a mobile phone App for men who suffer from depression.

Georgina said: “I spent many hours in the UCLAN library but winning an award and being recognised for my work made it all worthwhile.”

New clients have been supportive and impressed by Georgina’s work.

“Georgina designed my Marketing Company’s logo and brand to suit my personality and vision perfectly. I’m extremely happy and would highly recommend her to everyone,” said Emma Padovano, [23 Marketing].

Along with warrington-worldwide, Georgina is also part of Real5 Networking, a group of business owners and entrepreneurs in the Warrington area.

Georgina said: “As a young entrepreneur, it’s inspiring to meet local people who are successfully managing their own business. I’ve learnt so much from Real5 Networking members and I’m optimistic that my networking will lead to future business opportunities!”

Although being self-employed is risky and hard work, Georgina is enjoying the experience and looking forward to working with more Warrington businesses.

She added: “Working for myself has already been so enjoyable. I’ve worked with some great people, expressed my creativity and my work no longer feels like a job!”
