FINE food and fresh flavours are set to take centre stage at Bents Garden & Home, Glazebury near Warrington, as the centre gears up for some of its most delicious dates in the annual event calendar.
First on the agenda is the Meet the Makers Food Festival on September 8 and 9 when the centre’s speciality Food Hall will be joined by some of its favourite suppliers for an extensive celebration of fine food and drink.
Gourmet tasting and demonstrations will take place over the weekend giving customers the chance to try before they buy. Bents will be joined by suppliers such as Rivington Meats, Julyann the Baker, Shepherds Purse, Snowdonia Cheese and Lancashire Cheesecakes.
A raffle will also be held in aid of Warrington’s St Rocco’s Hospice, Bents 2018 charity of the year with the lucky winner taking home a luxury food hamper.
And the taste sensation doesn’t stop there. On Thursday September 13 the Fresh Approach Restaurant will host a British Food and Wine Pairing Event. Hosted by Bents’ food development chef, Tony Lewis and Reserve Wines, the evening will showcase some of the best produce Britain can offer, pairing outstanding wine with delicious cuisine.
