Knifeman arrested after bursting into house making demands for money

UPDATED: A man who was arrested at Fairfield and Howley, Warrington, on Saturday morning after allegedly bursting into a house armed with a knife and making demands for money, has been charged with aggravated burglary.

He was arrested accused of affray, Possession of a Bladed Article and Resisting Arrest.

He has now been charged with aggravated burglary and will appear at the next available court on Monday.

Meanwhile on Friday night a male was arrested in the Fairfield and Howley area accused of causing Actual Bodily Harm against his female partner – by kicking her.

In another incident another male was also arrested in the Fairfield/Howley area for an alleged offence of Threats to Kill against his female partner.
