WARRINGTON Rotary Club are busy preparing their annual charity funding raising event at the town’s Parr Hall.
Oktoberfest 22, starts October 11 for three days until October 13 and will help raise thousands of pounds for charities and good causes.
Over 70 cask ales plus ciders and bottled beers will be on sale to raise much needed funds for a number of charities both local and international. There will also be a ‘Gin and Fizz Bar” by popular request. Food is also available at the event.
Live music at each session will be the icing on the cake
Anyone wishing to have a beer named after them, their business or their group of people by sponsorship can obtain a sponsorship form from the Oktoberfest website http://www.warringtonoktoberfest.org.uk. Details of the event are also on the website.
Up to the present date over £275,000 has been raised for both local and international charities from previous Oktoberfests.
Warrington Rotary President, George Wilkinson commented, “This year should be another bumper year for our charities with interest being shown by people from all over the northwest and further afield.”
