Man held knife to throat during Great Sankey disturbance

A man held a knife to his own throat and also waved it at police during a disturbance at Great Sankey, Warrington, during the night.

The man was arrested for allegations of criminal damage and affray in the Sankey area.

During another incident a man was arrested in the Poplars & Hulme area for an allegation of causing Actual Bodily Harm.

It is alleged that the man held a sharp implement against the throat of a female victim.
