Firefighters were called out to tackle an out of control garden fire in Warrington earlier today (Wednesday).
One crew from Warrington was called out to reports of controlled burning in a back garden which had got out of control at an address in Folly Lane, Warrington, shortly after 3pm.
Crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Earlier in the day one fire engine from Penketh, one from Warrington and one from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called to a car fire on the M6 southbound between junction 21 and 20 shortly after 7am.
Crews, one wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.
