Family pays tribute to mum-of-two after mystery death

THE family of a mother-of-two who died in unexplained circumstances in Warrington last week have today paid tribute to her.
Emma Lewis, 44, died at her home in Holly Hedge Lane, Walton, overnight on Thursday last week
In a statement, her parents said: “As a family we have been devastated by the tragic loss of our daughter.
“She was a wonderful mother, daughter and sister.
“Her death has been hard to come to terms with and we respectfully request some privacy at this very sad time.”
Police are continuing to investigate Emma’s death, which is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
Detective Inspector Kate Tomlinson said: “My heart goes out to Emma’s family at this incredibly difficult time and my officers are committed to establishing the exact circumstances of what happened.”
A 46-year-old man from Warrington was arrested in connection with Emma’s death. He has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
