Overturned lorry causes road closure at Lymm

AN overturned lorry caused road closures on the A50 Lymm roundabout on Wednesday morning resulting in heavy congestion in the area.

As a result Cliff Lane was partially blocked after the HGV overturned on the roundabout at junction 20 of the M6, resulting in the southbound slip road being closed.

Cherry Lane was closed from the Lymm end near the Co-op on Booths Hill Road

Motorists were advised to avoid the area due to heavy congestion.

Recovery teams are now on the scene.
