POLICE are to mount extra patrols in Warrington today and tomorrow following an invasion of youths on scrambler bikes last week.
A large number of youths on scrambler bike came into Warrington last weekend, causing a number of issues.
Police in Warrington say they are aware of the issues which arose last week and are working with colleagues in Greater Manchester to try and address the problem.
“The local community can expect to see an increase in patrols on Saturday and Sunday in case any issues arise,” a spokesman said.
Anyone with any information in relation to the illegal or anti-social use of scrambler bikes in the town centre is urged to contact upolice by either filling out a form http://socsi.in/fJR4P, emailing [email protected] or calling 101.
