Drink driver chased by members of public

TWO members of the public chased after a drink-driver who took to his heels after crashing his car at Warrington
The incident was in Poplars Avenue, Orford and the alleged offender crashed his car into a garden wall.
He then ran off – chased by two members of the public.
A police officer arrived and arrested the man after he failed a breath test.
Police praised the two people who had assisted with the arrest.
The driver spent the night in the cells.
