Lymm Trail Races “the best ever”

THE sixth annual Trail Races organised by Lymm Runners were voted one of the best ever.
They began with the children’s fun run which had a “superhero” theme with the youngsters, many in fancy dress, chasing the Mystery Woodland Warrior.
The two winners were Callum Bell of Gateshead Harriers and Charlotte Flint of Manchester Harriers.
This was followed by the adult 5k and 10K races through Spud Wood and concluded with a medal, a goody bag and some refreshing fruit.
Daniel Cliffe of Liverpool Harriers and Michelle Horner, were winners of the 10K Race and Matthew Hughes of Liverpool Harriers and Zoe Gmerek of Chorlton Runners won the 5K.
The prizes were presented by Lymm Runner Debbie Crouch and £400.00 was raised from the raffle and bucket collection for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Debbie’s late husband, Paul.
