Man arrested for making threats to kill partner

A man has been arrested in Warrington for making threats to kill his partner and damaging her property earlier today.

The incident took place at an address in the Poplars and Hulme area of the town.

He was also arrested for causing criminal damage to a police vehicle.

Meanwhile last night two men were arrested for public order offences after being ejected from town centre premises and making threats to door staff after being refused entry to a pub.
