Padgate Walking Day 2018

HUNDREDS of people took to the streets of Padgate for the annual walk of witness involving local churches and schools.

They were greeted by glorious sunshine as pupils and teachers from local schools were joined by representatives from churches and brass bands for the annual walk down Padgate Lane and back again.

Walkers included local twins Ruben & Elena Evans-Guillen who are running 100km in 2018 to raise money for Warrington & Halton Hospital WHHCharity to build an Outdoor Play Area for the Children’s Ward.

The youngsters from St Peter’s Primary School recently won a Community Champions schools award and also met with Princess Anne when she visited Warrington Hospital earlier in the year.
