Man arrested at Bewsey for alleged assault and threats to commit damage

WARRINGTON Police have arrested a man at Bewsey this evening for an alleged assault and threats to commit criminal damage.

The male was wanted on warrant and is currently being kept in police cells.

Meanwhile earlier today three young juvenile girls were detained in Primark in Golden Square on suspicion of shoplifting. They were given robust verbal advice, plus the bonus of a trip home to their parents.

A male was also arrested in the St Helens area for an alleged burglary at a pub in Stockton Heath. A quantity of cash and cannabis was also discovered.

A man was also arrested in Latchford after failing to appear at court for an alleged Common Assault.
