LYMM High School’s Summer Fayre helped raise funds for the “Pitch In” campaign to help raise £100,000 for a new 3G pitch and changing room facilities at the school.

The popular event took place in the school grounds and is undoubtedly one of the biggest community celebrations in the school’s calendar.

Visitors enjoyed a whole host of activities including traditional games, fairground rides, inflatables, zorbing and a number of stalls run by the school as well as community enterprises.

There was also a range of music and performing arts, displays and presentations, including the opportunity to compete in Lymm’s very own singing competition, ‘The Voice’.

There was also e a staff sumo race, a coconut shy and raffles and the school’s very first dog show for the chance to win a doggie makeover and bottle of champagne.

Money raised from the fayre will go towards the high school’s ‘Pitch In!’ campaign, a fundraising initiative with a £100,000 target to bid for a new 3G sports pitch and changing room facilities.
