Antonia has “the big chop” for charity

MOTHER-of-three Antonia Mungai decided her hair had been too long…too long.
The answer, she decided, was “the big chop.”
She knew about hair donations so she got in touch with the Little Princess Trust, a charity who provide free, real hair wigs to children and young adults going through cancer treatment.
“It would mean I’d have to cut off more hair than I’d planned to. But I have lots of hair and it will grow back!
“My auntie is currently going through chemo and has lost all her hair so that put things in perspective too.”
Antonia contact Lymm hair and beauty salon Red and hairdresser Jenny did the rest. Her long hair soon got much, much shorter.
“An average wig costs the charity £500 and I have so far raised £600. But I would welcome further donations towards this amazing charity.”
Antonia has three children, aged three, five and 13, owns locally based Cheshire Soap Company and still finds time to work in the Sanctuary Café – Lymm’s community café.
Anyone who wants to help her raise more money for the Little Princess Trust can do so at
