Mayor helps promote volunteering opportunities across Warrington

VIDEO: WARRINGTON’S Mayor Cllr Karen Mundry hosted a special “Vol Fest” at the town hall to help promote volunteering opportunities with a wide variety of groups from across the town.

The event was organised by Warrington Volutary Action as part of National Volunteering Week in partnership with Warrington Borough Council .

More than 30 local organisations showcased their volunteering opportunities.

Activities including slacklining, ultimate Frisbee, arts and crafts, African drumming and much more took place outside the town hall which was also open for tours.

The Mayor tried her hand at drumming promoting “Peace and Love.”
