Man arrested for racially aggravated assault

A MAN was arrested for an alleged racially aggravated assault during a busy period for police at Warrington last night.
The alleged assault took place at a property in the town centre and involved an assault on a neighbour.
In a separate incident, a woman was arrested for an alleged assault on another woman in Brick Street.
A police officer chased and caught the alleged offender on the Cockhedge Centre car park. The woman was further alleged to have assaulted a police woman as she was being removed from the area.
Another woman was arrested on an allegation that she had misused the 999 system by repeatedly making unnecessary 999 calls over a period of several days.
At Bewsey, a man was arrested for two alleged domestic assaults and a man was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in the Bath Street area of the town centre.
