Investigation into fire near hospital

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a blaze involving a van near Warrington Hospital.
The van was found well alight in Guardian Street and crews used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatis to deal with it.
A nearby vehicle was also damaged as a result of the incident.
Cause of the outbreak is under investgation.
In another incident a fire crew from Warrington was sent to Swineyard Lane, High Legh to deal with a fire involving a large quantity of refuse.
It is believed to have been started deliberately.
