Sunshine forecast for Culcheth Community Day

0

PLANS are all in place for Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council’s Community Day whatever the weather – and with glorious sunshine forecast there shouldn’t be any issues!

The event takes place on  Bank Holiday Monday, (May 7) on Culcheth Green with the official programme starting at 12.00 noon.

Every year there is a different theme or main entertainment.

This year it is the circus, with Above and Beyond Trapeze Display, Children’s Circus Workshop and Kevin the Clown

There will also be many community stalls, organisations and features, plus a Karate Display.

Members of the public are urged to visit the Green and support local charities and organisations with Shaw street car park as a fall back venue if there is heavy rain and flooding issues which have caused problems in previous years.

But with warm weather and sunshine forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend there shouldn’t be any issues.
