MONTHLY plant sales have started again at Walton Lea Partnership on the first Sunday of each month offering the opportunity for local gardeners to pick up a bargain.
The local charity which supports adults with disabilities, sells locally grown plants and produce.
There is also a shop supplying recycled furniture and various other gifts and crafts for the home and garden and a cafe sreving tea, coffee and cakes.
Based in the old Victorian Walled Garden which used to be part of the Walton hall estate the charity is always on the lookout for volunteers be it corporate groups or individuals.
They are open seven days a week 10.00am til 4.00pm and volunteers are welcome to come for a few hours, full days or even a week.
Site manager Julie Groom said: “Our plant sales are very popular and offer great value. It is a real opportunity to pick up some bargains.”
Meanwhile the charity is always on the look out for volunters
Julie added: “We have got lots of fantastic volunteers but we can always do with more. Anyone with any amount of spare time who would like to turn their hand at any of these activities to help our charity to continue with our vital work would be very much appreciated.”
