Man accused of murder remanded in custody again

THE man accused of murdering Warrington woman Angela Craddock will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court, on Wednesday April 25.

William Smart, aged 54, from Winmarleigh Street, Warrington, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court, today, Tuesday and was remanded in custody again until next week. He is expected to face trial in October.

He was arrested on Tuesday 10 April and has subsequently been charged with the offence.

The victim, Angela Craddock, aged 40, was found at around 10.40pm at an address on St Elphins Close suffering serious head injuries. She sadly later died at Warrington General Hospital.
