Teenager robbed at knifepoint in Padgate

POLICE at Warrington are urging witnesses to come forward after a 18-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint.
The robbery was at Padgate and the victim was robbed of his bicycle by two men brandishing a knife.
The atack took place in a cobbled alleyway between Padgate Lane and Cornwall Street.
After forcing the victim to hand over his bike, the offenders fled in the direction of the Betfred shop at the end of Padgate Lane.
Detective Sergeant Mark Naylor said: “The two men subjected the victim to a terrifying ordeal that has left him extremely shaken up.
“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw two men fleeing the area with the stolen black, grey and white Giants bicycle.”
One of the men is described as black, in his late 20s and around 6’ 2” tall. He had broad shoulders and was wearing a black Nike tracksuit jacket, a black beanie hat and black North Face trousers. He fled on the bicycle following the robbery.
The other man is also described as being in his late 20s. He was white, around 5’ 11” tall and had bushy eyebrows and was wearing a light grey Nike jacket with the hood up, a black snood and dark grey jogging pants. He ran alongside the other man as they fled the scene.
