POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they are keen to speak to in connection with an assault on Bridge Street.
At around 3.20am on Wednesday 7 March officers were called to reports of a 19-year-old man having been assaulted by believed to be three men at around 3am.
The victim, from Warrington, was taken to hospital via an ambulance and has since been discharged.
Police Constable Rachel Keoghan said: “The victim is believed to have been punched and kicked several times in an unprovoked attack and we are determined to catch those responsible and bring them to justice.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and we believe that the man in the CCTV images may be able to help us with our investigation.
