Police probe fire which wrecks garages

POLICE are investigating following a fire which caused extensive damage to two garages at Padgate, Warrington.
The blaze was in Vulcan Close and the fire broke out shortly before 9pm last night.
Fire crews from Warrington and Birchwood went to the scene and firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, use a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. They then carried out damping down issues around the garages to prevent further outbreaks.
