THE charitable arm of Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club has made local clothing company Bubble Customised Clothing its official apparel sponsors.

The Wolves’ Charitable Foundation has teamed up with Bubble Customised Clothing, which has already supplied 50 free t-shirts to the Foundation’s Wolf Club – a weekly youth club offering a huge variety of activities to young people with additional needs.

The agreement is the first of its kind for the foundation and Bubble will be supplying more embroidered and printed clothing for projects and events throughout 2018.

It also means Wolves’ Prop Mike Cooper, who is also a director at Bubble, is able to give something back to the club where he started his career thanks to a significant saving on clothing.

“The Wolf Club t-shirts give the youngsters a sense of belonging to the club. I hope they’ll wear them with pride when they meet every Thursday,” says Mike, who is enjoying a second spell at the Wolves after playing for St George Illawarra in the NRL down under.

“As a local lad it’s been a dream come true to play for the Wolves. The foundation does great work and anything Bubble can do to help the cause is a bonus for me personally and a boost for the charitable causes we support.”

Bubble is based on the Palatine Industrial Estate on Causeway Avenue, and MD Sam Wareing says: “This is a great opportunity to for the foundation to use its own clothing and apparel to raise money to update the timeline in the Halliwell Jones Stadium.”

Bubble also supplies branded clothing to UK and EU blue-collar industries, schools, colleges, universities, the public sector, SMEs, sports clubs and charities.
