“Wear a daffodil in your lapel” says MP

WEAR a daffodil in your lapel  throughout March – that’s the message from Warrington South MP Faisal Rashid.
The flower will show that the wearer is – like the MP – supporting Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
Every year throughout March, the charity holds the appeal to raise the funds they need to provide care for people affected by terminal illness.
The flower shows not only their support for the work of Marie Curie nurses, but also helps highlight the many issues that people affected by terminal illness are faced with.
Mr Rashid said:“I am proud to support the vital work of Marie Curie who provide many people with terminal illnesses, and their families, the care and support they need with the respect and dignity they deserve.
“Everyone deserves to have the best quality of care and the best quality of life possible when they are terminally ill.
“Wearing a daffodil is a really easy way to show your support for the vital work that Marie Curie do, and for the individuals and their families who are affected by terminal illness.
“Money raised from sales of Marie Curie daffodil pins will support the charity in their important work helping people living with terminal illness, providing them and their loved ones with vital care at the most difficult time of their lives.”
