BUS company Network Warrington is to operate an extended service through Lymm and High Legh to Knutsford.
The current 47 route will be extended from Monday, April 9, Monday to Friday.
It will service the Broomedge area of Lymm, High Legh and then Knutsford.
Network Warrington says the service will be provided in partnership with Warrington and Cheshire East councils.
Ben Wakerley, managing director at Network Warrington, said: “I’m pleased to announce that, with assistance from local authority colleagues, we are able to improve and extend the operation of another valuable bus service for our residents.
“The extension of the 47 bus route came from customer feedback at our Cheshire Cat roadshow in February and we’re delighted that on this occasion we could put feedback into action.
“We try and operate the most extensive bus network possible and in some areas do operate less economic services to ensure our communities stay connected as much as possible.
“This is why support from local authorities is essential – without it, there would be many residents who wouldn’t have access to any forms of transport.
