THE Choir of Clare College, one of the leading university choral groups in the world, is returning to Warrington to give a concert at Live at St. Wilfrid’s!
The choristers will be performing its new concert programme, ‘In Peace’ and will transport the audience on a fascinating journey through the sound-worlds of the UK, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, and Iceland, with works from Josquin and Allegri to Judith Bingham and James MacMillan, and much more.
Ian Roberts, chairman of Live at St. Wilfrid’s!, said: “The much-anticipated return of the Choir of Clare College is causing a lot of excitement for our regular attendees. Tickets are selling fast and we are expecting a large crowd!
“They are a fantastic choir and their beautiful voices fill our Church and create the most amazing atmosphere – it really will be a treat for everyone that goes.”
