FOUR new teams will play in the Cheshire Women’s Cricket League this summer – including one from the Warrington area.
A new 2nd XI has been formed at established member club Appleton and will play in a new Division 3 East along with another local club, Lymm Oughtrington Park.
The other three new teams are Marple, Nantwich and Upton.
In division one, defending champions Oakmere will start the season at home to Didsbury on Sunday, April 22.
Newly promoted Wistaston Village will host Appleton.
Home and away fixtures will be introduced in the western and eastern division of the T20 divisional competition.
