A VACANCY has occurred on Birchwood Town Council following the resignation of former Locking Stumps ward councillor Estelle Linney.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice of an election to fill the vacancy and nominations must be delivered to the Returning Office, at the Town Hall, East Annex, Sankey Street, Warrington no later than 4pm on Friday, February 16.
If an election is called, it will take place on Thursday, March 15.
Nomination papers can be obtained from the Returning Officer.
Two vacancies have also occurred in the Lower Walton ward of Walton Parish Council.
Nominations must be delivered to the Returning Officer at the Town Hall East Annex by 4pm on Friday, February 16.
Again, if elections are called, they will be on Thursday March 15.
