“Save the NHS” demo outside Warrington Hospital

HEALTH Service workers, patients and members of the public are to demonstrate outside the main entrance to Warrington Hospital today, between 1pm and 3pm.
The demonstration will be one of a number taking place outside hospitals up and down the country on the theme of “Save the NHS”
Campaigners will be giving out leaflets calling on the government to make more funding available to the health service
They will also be warning of the dangers of privatising the health service or out-sourcing sections of it.
Organisers are expecting about 50-60 demonstrators to turn out – but would welcome more support from the public.
Campaigners will also man a stall in the town centre, at Market Gate, where more leaflets will be distributed.
