Motor cyclist airlifted to hospital after crash

A WARRINGTON man was rushed by air ambulance to hospital in Stoke-on-Trent after being involved in a serious collision at Knutsford.
The 44-year-old motor cyclist was travelling along Chelford Road, towards Knutsford, when he was in collision with a Jaguar X-Type travelling the opposite direction.
He sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital in a serious condition.
The incident took place at 1.51pm on Sunday but police have only released details today as part of an appeal for witnesses.
Anyone who saw the accident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 393 of January 14.
