A SPORTING legend is heading to Warrington to give fans an extraordinary insight into his road to stardom.
Former dual-code international rugby league and rugby union player Jason Robinson will be taking centre stage at Pyramid Arts Centre in an access-all-areas talk about his rise to fame.
Playing at wing or fullback, Jason “Billy Whizz” Robinson won 51 rugby union international caps for England, as well bagging success on the rugby league pitch, winning 12 caps for Great Britain and seven for England, in addition to representing the Lions.
The rugby star managed to win every honour in Rugby League before going on to do the same in Rugby Union, including the World Cup in Australia.
Now, in a fascinating live talk, Jason will regale audiences with stories about his career, in addition to tales of personal difficulty; from growing up with a single mother who worked as a cleaner, to overcoming depression and battles with alcohol to become one of the greatest rugby players of all time.
Hosted by the former professional rugby player turned comedian and sports presenter John Lebbon, this inspirational talk will also include a memorabilia auction.
Fans can even benefit from a special VIP package, offering a meet and greet before the event, a photo opportunity and signed souvenir.
Jason will be at the Pyramid on Friday, April 20.
Tickets are on sale now at www.pyramidparrhall.com or by calling the Box Office on 01925 442345.
