ONE fire engine from Warrington was sent to tackle a skip fire at Lymm.
The blaze in Grammar School Road caused clouds of smoke to drift over nearby houses.

It wasn’t a skip fire it was just a garden fire, and we are sure who ever called knew that also, this is a blatant waste of an emergency resource. The fire fighters had to come from Warrington as the both the Stockton Heath and new fire station at Junction 20 of the M6 were all out on other calls, I just hope this didn’t delay them from a real situation
